Predictive Maintenance (PdM) is a technique that helps in determining the condition of in-service equipment in order to predict when the maintenance should be performed. The primary goal is to minimize disruption of normal system operations, while allowing for budgeted scheduled repairs.

Predictive maintenance (PdM) encompasses the following:
